25-Minute Easy Crab Linguine

Description

A quick and elegant dish featuring fresh crab, garlic, and linguine that transports you to cherished moments with every bite.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz dried linguine
  • 8 oz fresh lump crab meat
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 shallots, diced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley or basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the linguine. Cook according to package instructions until al dente and reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and add minced garlic and diced shallots. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the white wine, scraping the skillet to deglaze and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Add the butter and stir until melted, then gently fold in the crab meat. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the cooked linguine into the skillet, adding a little reserved pasta water as needed to create a creamy sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and toss in the fresh herbs. Serve warm, garnished with additional herbs if desired.

Notes

Feel free to add cherry tomatoes or a hint of red pepper flakes for additional flavor. Serve with a side salad or sautéed green beans for a complete meal.
