Description

A delightful dish featuring creamy melted brie topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce, perfect for family gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Bread or crackers (for serving)
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional, sliced almonds or walnuts)
  • Fresh herbs (optional, rosemary or thyme)
  • Honey (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the brie wheel in the center of the baking sheet, leaving space around it.
  3. Spoon cranberry sauce generously over the brie, allowing it to ooze down the sides.
  4. If using nuts, sprinkle them on top of the cranberry sauce.
  5. Lightly drizzle honey over everything for sweetness.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the brie is gooey but not completely runny.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh herbs on top.
  8. Serve warm with slices of bread and crackers.

Notes

Keep an eye on the brie while baking to avoid overheating. Allow to rest for a couple of minutes before serving to retain its shape.
