- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup cherry soda

- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, and stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in the cherry soda until fully incorporated.
- Scoop heaping tablespoons of cookie dough onto the lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store leftover cookies in an airtight container for up to 7 days. For a twist, try replacing cherry soda with grape or strawberry soda.
