Description

A creamy and cheesy dip made with ground beef, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dippers (tortilla chips, fresh veggies, baguette)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the Aromatics: Heat a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, onions, and garlic. Sauté until soft.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef: Increase heat, add ground beef until browned, and drain excess fat.
  3. Mix in the Creamy Base: Lower heat, stir in cream cheese and sour cream until blended.
  4. Add the Cheddar: Fold shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture until melted.
  5. Season to Taste: Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Serve Warm: Transfer to a bowl and garnish with green onions or parsley; serve with dippers.

Notes

Let cream cheese come to room temperature for a smoother blend. Don’t overcook the beef to avoid a dry dip.
