Delightful jumbo pasta shells filled with shredded chicken and creamy Alfredo sauce for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup butter
  • Fresh parsley or basil, for seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Whisk in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine cooked chicken, 1 cup of Alfredo sauce, and ricotta in a large bowl.
  6. Stuff each shell with the chicken mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Pour remaining Alfredo sauce over shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For lighter options, use whole wheat pasta or add more vegetables to the filling. Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
