- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup butter
- Fresh parsley or basil, for seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Whisk in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth; season with salt and pepper.
- Combine cooked chicken, 1 cup of Alfredo sauce, and ricotta in a large bowl.
- Stuff each shell with the chicken mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
- Pour remaining Alfredo sauce over shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For lighter options, use whole wheat pasta or add more vegetables to the filling. Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
