Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cilantro, and spices. Mix thoroughly with your hands.
- Wet your hands slightly and shape the mixture into oval or cylindrical forms.
- Grill on medium-high or sauté in a non-stick skillet with olive oil over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- While the kofta cooks, mix Greek yogurt with minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Serve the kofta on a platter with garlic yogurt on the side, along with fresh veggies, pita bread, or salad.
Notes
Be cautious not to overmix the meat to keep the kofta tender. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid steaming.
