Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Incorporate the vanilla extract, mixing until fully integrated.
  4. Sift together the all-purpose flour, almond flour, and a pinch of salt; gradually add to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped almonds until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and place on the prepared baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
  7. Gently press each ball slightly to flatten.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges turn golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
