- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Gradually add in the flour, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans, chocolate chips, and toffee bits until evenly distributed.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before lifting out with parchment and cooling completely on a wire rack.
- Cut into desired squares or bars.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute coconut oil for butter. These bars can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
