Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice (or apple juice as a substitute)
  • 2 cups ginger ale or club soda
  • 23 whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • Slices of fresh oranges
  • Diced apples
  • A handful of cranberries
  • Fresh mint or rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine equal parts of cranberry juice, orange juice, and pomegranate juice.
  2. Add whole cloves, a cinnamon stick, and a pinch of nutmeg to the juice. Let this sit for about 30 minutes to infuse.
  3. Just before serving, gently stir in chilled ginger ale or sparkling water.
  4. Float slices of oranges, diced apples, and cranberries in the punch. Add sprigs of fresh mint or rosemary for decoration.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with a slice of citrus or herb sprig.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness with simple syrup or lemon juice, as desired.
