Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package pastry dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh herbs (cilantro or chives) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the pastry dough by rolling it out to 1/8-inch thickness and cutting into rounds for tartlet pans.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, chopped jalapeños, and cranberries. Blend until smooth.
  4. Place the rolled dough into the tart pans and fill each with the cranberry and jalapeño mixture.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before garnishing with fresh herbs and serving.
