Ingredients

- 4 cups shredded green cabbage
- 2 medium crisp apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- ¾ cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1–2 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Shred the cabbage and rinse under cold water, then drain completely.
- Slice the apples into matchsticks or small cubes and toss with lemon juice.
- In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, chopped apples, and dried cranberries.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar to make the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss gently to coat.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise and adjust sugar to taste.
