Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 jalapenos, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Chop jalapenos finely and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix cheddar cheese, cream cheese, jalapenos, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika until combined.
  3. Form small balls from the mixture, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Dredge each ball in panko breadcrumbs to coat.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the balls in batches for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
