- 8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups fluffy cotton candy
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and granulated sugar; beat until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix, then fold in cotton candy.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour and a pinch of salt, mixing to form a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into small balls, create an indentation, and fill with cheesecake mixture. Roll into ball shapes.
- Place dough balls on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, and roll in additional cotton candy.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
These cheesecake bombs are best served at room temperature. Pair with chocolate sauce or fresh berries for an extra touch.
