Description

Delightful bites filled with creamy cheesecake and wrapped in a crispy, cotton candy exterior, reminiscent of childhood summers at the fair.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups fluffy cotton candy
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and granulated sugar; beat until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix, then fold in cotton candy.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour and a pinch of salt, mixing to form a soft dough.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls, create an indentation, and fill with cheesecake mixture. Roll into ball shapes.
  5. Place dough balls on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven, cool slightly, and roll in additional cotton candy.
  7. Let cool completely before serving.

Notes

These cheesecake bombs are best served at room temperature. Pair with chocolate sauce or fresh berries for an extra touch.
