Description

A delightful dish featuring juicy turkey fillets coated with a crunchy herb crust and paired with tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Boneless turkey fillets
  • Panko breadcrumbs (or any breadcrumbs)
  • Fresh thyme, rosemary, or Italian herb blend
  • 1 egg (or flaxseed meal mixed with water for vegan option)
  • Cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil (or butter)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the turkey fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, herbs, and seasonings together.
  4. Beat an egg in another bowl and dip each turkey fillet into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Arrange the coated fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. While the turkey cooks, warm your cranberry sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  8. Once the turkey is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes, slice, and serve alongside the warm cranberry sauce.

Notes

Ensure the turkey fillets are dry for the crust to adhere properly. Allowing the turkey to rest after baking retains its juices.
