Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin or line with muffin liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and egg until fully combined.

  6. Fill the muffin tin about three-quarters full with the batter and bake for 15–18 minutes.
