Description

A flavorful and tender chicken dish marinated in creamy Greek yogurt, lemon, garlic, and herbs, ideal for grilling or sautéing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh or dried herbs (oregano, thyme, rosemary)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean and pat dry the chicken.
  2. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, and herbs; whisk until smooth.
  3. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
  4. Coat the chicken in the marinade and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  5. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, baste the chicken with the leftover marinade during grilling. A meat thermometer is recommended to ensure perfect cooking without overcooking.
