- 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh Chives, chopped
- 1/2 Red Bell Pepper, diced finely
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup Nuts (optional, chopped walnuts or pecans)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, soften the cream cheese by allowing it to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the softened cream cheese and mix until well combined.
- Add minced garlic, chopped parsley, chives, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Gently fold in the diced red bell pepper.
- Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands. If using nuts, roll the cheeseball in the chopped nuts to coat.
- Wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve with an array of crackers, sliced vegetables, or bread slices, and garnish as desired.
