Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, combine corn, sautéed onion and garlic, honey, and heavy cream. Mix until evenly coated.
- Whisk together the eggs and add to the corn mixture. Season with salt and pepper, adding smoked paprika or fresh herbs if desired.
- Pour into a greased baking dish and dot the top with butter pieces.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden brown. Cover with foil if necessary to prevent over-browning.
- Let sit for a few minutes before serving.
