- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh peaches, chopped
- 1/4 cup cream (for caramel sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a muffin tin.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and sugars.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients, folding in gently.
- Fold in chopped peaches evenly into the batter.
- Fill muffin cups about ¾ full with batter.
- For the caramel sauce, melt butter with brown sugar and cream over low heat; drizzle over muffin batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
