Description
A nostalgic brunch dish featuring crispy hash browns, fluffy scrambled eggs, and zesty pickles for a delightful slider experience.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound freshly grated potatoes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 large eggs
- Dill pickles, chopped
- Fresh garlic, minced
- Fresh herbs (chives, parsley, or dill)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse grated potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch and dry thoroughly.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat, add potatoes, season, and press to form a patty. Sauté until golden, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Whisk eggs with salt and pepper. In another skillet, scramble eggs gently over medium heat until creamy.
- Assemble sliders with a hash brown base, scrambled eggs, and chopped pickles. Optionally build a second layer.
- Return sliders to the skillet for a minute on each side for crisping if desired, then serve warm.
Notes
For a plant-based option, substitute eggs with a chickpea flour scramble or tofu.
