Description

A delightful and comforting taco bake featuring flaky crescent roll crust filled with savory ground beef, vegetables, and cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • Fresh herbs (cilantro or green onions) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  3. Sauté onions and bell peppers in the same skillet until tender, then mix them with the meat.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and press seams together to form a single sheet. Place in a greased baking dish.
  5. Fill the crust with the meat and veggie mixture, then layer on cheese and fresh herbs.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let cool briefly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, use lean meats and whole grain dough. Customize fillings based on dietary preferences.
