- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cream butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in pistachio cream until well incorporated.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- While the cake bakes, whisk together powdered sugar, additional pistachio cream, and milk to reach desired consistency.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle the gooey topping over it.

For a dairy-free version, substitute unsalted butter with margarine or coconut oil. Use almond extract instead of vanilla for a twist.
