Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  2. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for about an hour.
  3. Shape the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  4. Chill again for 30 minutes to maintain shape.
  5. Melt chocolate gently until smooth using a double boiler or microwave.
  6. Dip each truffle in melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper.

Notes

For lighter truffles, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt or use maple syrup instead of powdered sugar.
