Ingredients

  • 1 Beef Chuck Roast
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 2 Yellow Onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Stock
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the beef chuck roast dry and season with salt, pepper, and spices.
  2. In a skillet, sear the beef on all sides until browned.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic and deglaze the pan with chicken stock.
  4. Transfer beef and onions to the slow cooker, and add BBQ sauce and chicken stock.
  5. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the beef and mix it back into the sauce.
  7. Serve hot on fresh buns or with your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the beef in BBQ sauce for a few hours before cooking. Avoid opening the slow cooker during cooking to maintain heat.
