- 1 Beef Chuck Roast
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- 2 Yellow Onions, sliced
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Chicken Stock
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Pat the beef chuck roast dry and season with salt, pepper, and spices.
- In a skillet, sear the beef on all sides until browned.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic and deglaze the pan with chicken stock.
- Transfer beef and onions to the slow cooker, and add BBQ sauce and chicken stock.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the beef and mix it back into the sauce.
- Serve hot on fresh buns or with your favorite sides.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the beef in BBQ sauce for a few hours before cooking. Avoid opening the slow cooker during cooking to maintain heat.
