  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the Ingredients: Cut beef into bite-sized pieces and quarter the potatoes.
  2. Sear the Beef (Optional): Brown beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for extra flavor.
  3. Combine All Ingredients: In a slow cooker, add beef, potatoes, garlic, salt, pepper, and beef broth.
  4. Add the Butter: Dot with butter cubes.
  5. Cook Low and Slow: Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Finish and Serve: Stir the mixture and adjust seasoning, cooking uncovered for 30 minutes if sauce needs thickening.
