Description
Tender and flavorful steak bites that melt in your mouth, slow-cooked to perfection with aromatic spices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs steak (chuck roast or sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak: Cut your steak into bite-sized pieces, trimming any excess fat. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Sear the Meat: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add a splash of oil and sear the steak pieces for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Prep the Slow Cooker: Transfer the seared steak to your slow cooker. Add minced garlic, chopped onions, bell peppers, soy sauce, beef broth, and your chosen herbs. Scrape up any fond left in the skillet to enrich the cooking liquid.
- Cook Low and Slow: Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for about 3-4 hours.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once finished, stir gently before serving. Pair with mashed potatoes or steamed veggies.
Notes
Sear the steak for better flavor, and serve with mashed potatoes for a delightful meal.
